Nobody buys their way to the top

Cheshire Digest started with a simple frustration: almost every way of finding a decent local trade is paid for by the trades themselves. Pay more, appear higher. The business at the top is the one with the biggest budget, not the best work.

So we built the opposite. Nobody buys their way onto Cheshire Digest and nobody buys their way up it. A business appears because it is rated well, by a real number of real customers, and it is ranked on that and nothing else.

We are small, independent and based here. We are also honest about where we are up to: we started in the towns around Wilmslow and Macclesfield and we are working outwards across the county, town by town. If your business isn't here yet, tell us and we'll add it.

Every listing can be claimed by the business that owns it — free, permanently. Claim it and the page becomes yours to write: your own description, your photographs, your hours, your services. We'd rather hear it from you than guess.
